Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kelayakan kualitas air Waduk Pluit untuk kegiatan perikanan dan jenis kegiatan perikanan yang cocok dikembangkan di Waduk Pluit. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis yang dapat diartikan sebagai prosedur penelitian yang berusaha mendeskripsikan suatu gejala, peristiwa ataupun kejadian, serta mengumpulkan informasi berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampak atau sebagaimana adanya kemudian dianalisis. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Purposive Sampling dimana pengambilan sampel diambil berdasarkan keperluan penelitian, artinya setiap unit atau individu yang diambil dari populasi dipilih dengan sengaja berdasar pertimbangan tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas perairan Waduk Pluit ditinjau dari parameter fisika, kimia dan biologi memiliki nilai kualitas air yang tidak layak untuk dilakukan kegiatan perikanan. Jakarta has a lot of swamps to overcome the problem of flooding. One of them is Waduk Pluit. However, the reservoir is only used as development ecosystem to reduce flooding and recreation family parks, there has no effort in the field of economic and fisheries that use to improve economic value and fisheries. Regarding the utilization of aquatic resources for fisheries activities, it is necessary to analysis feasibility of water quality in the Waduk Pluit based on parameters of physical, chemistry, and biological. The general objective of this study were to determine the feasibility of reservoir water quality for fisheries activities and suitable fisheries activities to be developed in the Waduk Pluit. The method used is descriptive analysis which can be interpreted as a research procedure that seeks to describe a phenomenon, event or occurrence, and to gather information based on the facts as they appear or later be analysed. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. In which sample took based on the purposes of the study, meaning that every unit or individual drawn from the population selected purposefully based on certain considerations.
