Nilai nutrisinya didapatkan dari kandungan protein Artemia yang mencapai 60% pada Artemia dewasa. Suhu dan salinitas merupakan salah satu faktor fisik yang paling penting dalam kehidupan laut dan organisme air. terdapat hubungan yang kompleks antara dua faktor, dimana suhu dapat memodifikasi efek salinitas, sehingga mengubah batas toleransi salinitas dari suatu organisme. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah Hatching percentage serta Hatching effisiency pada tetasan kista Artemia pada suhu dan salinitas media yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2014 di laboratorium Pengelolaan Sumberdaya Ikan dan Lingkungan Jurusan Perikanan Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Diponegoro. Suhu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 28 0 C dan 32 0 C, sedangkan salinitas yang digunakan adalah 15‰, 20‰, 25‰, 30‰ dan 35‰. Selama penelitian dilakukuan pengambilan sampel pada 15 jam pertama dan 3 jam berikutnya hingga 36 jam, serta dilakukan perhitungan Hatching percentage serta Hatching effisiency . Hasil penelitian didapatkan kombinasi suhu dan salinitas terbaik untuk media penetasan adalah dengan menggunakan suhu 28 0 C dan salinitas 35‰ dengan hasil Hatching percentage , Hatching effisiency sebanyak 229.166 naupli 76,73%. Berdasarkan Uji Anova dua arah, rata-rata penetasan kista Artemia berbeda dan dipengaruhi oleh suhu dan salinitas. Artemia has a very high nutrition and appropriate to be the food of fish larval and crustaceans to grow quick. The nutrition value obtained from the content of a protein Artemia to reach 60% in adult Artemia. Temperature and salinity are the most important physical factors in marine life and organism.There is a complex relationship between the two factors, where the temperature can modify the effect of salinity, thus changing the salinity tolerance limits of an organism, while salinity can modify the effects of the temperature. The purpose of this study were to determine Hatching Percentage and Hatching Effisiency of Artemia cysts at different temperature and salinity levels. This study was conducted in May 2014 in the laboratory of Fisheries Resources Management and Environment, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences Diponegoro University. The temperature used in this study were 28 0 C and 32 0 C, while the salinity used were 15 ‰, 20 ‰, 25 ‰, 30 ‰, and 35 ‰. During the study, sample were taken in the first steps in 15 hour in continued after at 3 hours and 36 hours consequently, the hatching percentage and hachting efficiency was calculated. The results showed the best combination of temperature and salinity for hatching was 28 0 C temperature and salinity of 35‰ with results of 76.73% and the Hatching efficiency as naupli 229,166. Based on two-way ANOVA test, the Artemia cysts average hatching differ significantly and influenced by temperature and salinity }, issn = {2721-6233}, pages = {188--194} doi = {10.14710/marj.v3i4.7098}, url = {https://ejournal3.undip.ac.id/index.php/maquares/article/view/7098} }
