Proses biokonsentrasi berlangsung selama 96 jam dalam akuarium (panjang 50 cm, lebar 30 cm dan tinggi 20 cm) dan air yang digunakan adalah air kolam budidaya di Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) Siwarak, Ungaran. Hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian ini adalah rata-rata konsentrasi bahan organik dalam jaringan lunak kijing setelah perlakuan biokonsentrasi adalah cangkang ukuran kecil 56,27 %, cangkang ukuran sedang 44,15 % dan cangkang ukuran besar 34,24 %. Rata-rata hasil faktor biokonsentrasi bahan organik pada jaringan lunak kijing adalah sebagai berikut: kerang ukuran kecil 781.705,1, kerang ukuran sedang 224.512,8 dan kerang ukuran besar 310.721,5. Terdapat perbedaan laju biokonsentrasi bahan organik antara ukuran cangkang kecil dan cangkang besar dimana cangkang lebih kecil memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan cangkang besar. Anodonta woodiana is one of biofilter biota, that can absorb pollutants in the waters including organic matter. The purpose of this study were to determine organic matter content on the soft tissue and bioconcentration factor of total organic matter in various sizes of Anodonta woodiana shells. The study was conducted in the laboratory. Experimental design was a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 3 repetation. Bioconcentration process lasts for 96 hours in aquarium (50 cm long, 30 cm wide and 20 cm high) and water medium used is water from aquaculture pond in the Hatchery (BBI) Siwarak, Ungaran. The results obtained in this study is the average concentration of organic matter in the soft tissues of Anodonta woodiana after bioconcentration at the small size shell 56,27%, medium size 44,15% and large size 34,24%. Average bioconcentration factor of organic matter results in soft tissue of Anodonta woodiana are as follows: 781,705.1 at the small size shells, 224,512.8 medium size and 310,721.5 large size.
