Metode penelitian adalah metode eksperimen skala laboratorium.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata konsentrasi bahan organik tertinggi yaitu 55,23 – 60,21% pada akar, 51,14 – 54,71% pada daun dan 46,60 – 50,54% pada tangkai daun. Kadar nitrat tetinggi yaitu 1,102 – 3,238 mg/l pada daun, 0,555 – 1,969 mg/l pada tangkai daun dan 0,313 – 1,200 mg/l pada akar. Kadar fosfat tertinggi yaitu 0,014 – 0,142 mg/l pada daun, 0,008 – 0,100 mg/l pada tangkai daun dan 0,001 – 0,067 mg/l pada akar. Berat biomassa eceng gondok menyusut setelah 4 minggu dari berat awal 200 gr menjadi masing- masing 150 gr pada akar, 70 gr pada tangkai daun dan 40 gr pada daun. Probiotics are living microorganisms that facilitate collection of nutria required by plant uptake. Weathering the water hyacinth is a primary source of organic matter in the Rawa Pening waters. That would impact on water conditions to be more fertile (eutrophication). The research material are probiotics roots, petiole and leaves of the water hyacinth that placed in aquarium with a volume of 20 liters and be added 10ml of probiotics. The research method is experimental method in laboratory-scale . The results showed that on average the highest concentration of organic matter from 55.23 - 60.21% at the root,51.14 - 54.71% at the leaves and 46.60 - 50.54% at the petiole. The nitrate content from 1.102 - 3.238 mg/l at the leaves, 0.555 - 1.969 mg/l at the petiole and 0.313 to 1.200 mg / l at the root.The phosphate content from 0.014 - 0.142 mg/l at the leaves, 0.008 - 0.100 mg/l at petiole and 0.001 - 0.067 mg/l at the root.
