Parameter utama dalam penelitian ini adalah Nitrat, Fosfat dan Klorofil-a. Parameter pendukung dalam penelitian ini adalah kelimpahan fitoplankton, pengukuran kecepatan arus, pH, temperatur, DO, salinitas, kedalaman, dan kecerahan. Hasil penelitian kandungan nitrat pada keempat stasiun berkisar antara 1,53 – 1,70 mg/l, kandungan Fosfat berkisar antara 0,15 - 0,32 mg/l, dan kandungan Klorofil-a berkisar antara 0,039 - 0,058 µg/l. Hubungan antara Nitrat dengan Klorofil-a diperoleh nilai r sebesar 0,904, hubungan antara Fosfat dengan Klorofil-a diperoleh nilai r sebesar 0,760 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan variabel tersebut sama-sama kuat. Estuary is a river that is widely used for human activities such as a place of settlement, aquaculture, mangrove forests, as well as fishing boat transportation thus affecting the fertility of the waters, directly or indirectly will influence the content of nitrates, phosphates and chlorophyll-a. The purpose of this research is to know the content of nitrates, phosphates, and chlorophyll-a and Nitrate and Phosphate with Chlorophyll-a. This research was carried out in September 2015 at Estuary Wulan Demak, Central Java. Sampling was conducted at four different stations. The main parameter in this research are Nitrates, Phosphates and Chlorophyll-a. Supporting parameters in this study is the abundance of phytoplankton, the measurement of the speed of the flow, pH, temperature, salinity, depth, D.O, and brightness. The research content of nitrates in the four stations ranged from 1.53 – 1.70 mg/l Phosphate content, ranging between 0.15-0.32 mg/l, and chlorophyll-a range between 0.039-0.058 µ g/l.
