PROFIL KANDUNGAN MAKRONUTRIEN DAN GULA TAMBAHAN PADA PRODUK SUSU CAIR DAN KONTRIBUSINYA TERHADAP KECUKUPAN HARIAN BATITA

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Pelabelan gizi pada produk susu cair di pasaran tidak menggunakan acuan kebutuhan yang sesuai dengan anjuran kecukupan harian batita, sehingga informasi kecukupan kandungan pada produk menjadi kurang tepat.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kandungan makronutrien dan gula tambahan pada produk susu cair dan kontribusinya sesuai anjuran kecukupan harian batita.

Metode: Merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan observasional secara cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Total sebanyak 30 sampel meliputi varian plain(n=10) dan berperisa(n=20) didapatkan melalui pembelian produk dari tiga pasar retail di wilayah Tangerang Selatan. Data kandungan makronutrien dan gula tambahan didapatkan melalui label informasi nilai gizi pada kemasan produk. Kandungan makronutrien dan gula tambahan pada sampel dibandingkan dengan kecukupan harian untuk batita.

Hasil: Tiap 100ml produk susu cair plain dibandingkan susu cair berperisa memiliki rerata kandungan lemak (4,90±1,84g vs 2,8±0,89g) dan protein (3,02±0,76 vs 2,11±0,48 g). Sedangkan kandungan energi total (59,58±4,44 vs 69,06±10,51 kkal), karbohidrat total (5,04±1,01 vs 10,42±1,77 g), gula tambahan (0,15±0,47 vs 6,11±2,18 g) lebih tinggi pada susu cair berperisa.

Simpulan: Secara keseluruhan kontribusi kandungan makronutrien pada produk susu cair tergolong rendah terhadap kecukupan harian batita, namun pada susu cair plain memiliki kecukupan tinggi pada kandungan protein sedangkan susu cair berperisa pada kandungan gula tambahan.
