Dalam melakukan aktivitasnya, muncul berbagai potensi bahaya yang dapat membahayakan pekerja dan memungkinkan untuk terjadi kecelakaan kerja baik di dermaga maupun di kapal. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penilaian resiko dan pengendaliannya dengan mengidentifikasi hazard dan efeknya sebagai bentuk peningkatan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Metode ini dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi risiko berdasarkan aktivitasnya, lalu dilanjut dengan Risk Assessment atau penilaian terhadap variable risiko berdasarkan kemungkinan terjadinya risiko (likelihood) dan keparahan apabila risiko terjadi (severity) dengan bantuan kuesioner terhadap para pekerja yang berkaitan dengan proses bongkar muat. Terakhir, akan dilakukan Risk Control atau pengendalian. Ditemukan 5 dari 37 bahaya tergolong dalam golongan ekstreme dan membutuhkan pengendalian, diantaranya yaitu permukaan dermaga yang licin, posisi pekerja yang tidak ergonomis, Kondisi wireroop yang tidak layak/berkarat, tidak menggunakan APD, dan penumpukan material yang terlalu tinggi/ tidak tersusun rapih. Kata kunci : HIRARC, Pelabuhan, Bongkar-Muat Abstract PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (Krakatau International Port) is a state-owned company that was founded in 1996 as a subsidiary of PT Krakatau Steel which is engaged in loading and unloading services at ports. In carrying out its activities, various potential hazards arise which can endanger workers and allow work accidents to occur both on the wharf and on the ship. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a risk assessment and its control by identifying the hazards and their effects, as well as those who may be affected by them as a form of improvement in Occupational Safety and Health (K3). This method is carried out by identifying risks based on activity, then followed by a Risk Assessment that based on the likelihood of occurrence (likelihood) and severity if the risk occurs (severity) through a survey with the help of a questionnaire to workers related to the loading and unloading process carried out at the time of data collection. Furthermore, Risk Control will be carried out as the final stage of HIRARC. It was found that 5 out of 37 hazards were classified as extreme and needed control, including the smooth surface of the pier, the position of workers who were not ergonomic, the condition of the wireroop that was not proper/rusty, not using PPE, and the material bending that was too high/not arranged neatly.
