BERDASARKAN KEDALAMAN PERAIRAN DAN NAUNGAN YANG BERBEDA DI PULAU PARI KEPULAUAN SERIBU JAKARTA}, journal = {Management of Aquatic Resources Journal (MAQUARES)}, volume = {4}, number = {1}, year = {2015}, keywords = {Zooxanthellae; Acropora sp.; Kedalaman Perairan; Tipe naungan}, abstract = { Zooxanthellae merupakan mikroalga yang hidup bersimbiosis dengan karang. Acropora sp. merupakan salah satu jenis karang yang dapat hidup dan berkembang mulai dari rataan terumbu ( reef flat ) hingga tubir ( slope ), baik dalam keadaan ternaung maupun tidak. Tipe naungan akan mempengaruhi simbiosisnya dengan zooxanthellae. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sebaran karang Acropora sp. yang ada di pulau Pari Kepulauan Seribu Jakarta, dan menganalisis perbedaan kelimpahan zooxanthellae karang Acropora sp. berdasarkan kedalaman dan tipe naungan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan di 3 stasiun selatan pulau Pari, berlangsung antara 20-23 Juni 2014. Pada Penelitian ini diukur penutupan terumbu karang khususnya Acropora sp yang hidup, kualitas air dan kelimpahan zooxanthellae. Analisis perbedaan kelimpahan zooxanthellae menggunakan uji chi-kuadrat. Persentase penutupan Acropora sp. di selatan pulau Pari mendominasi jenis karang hidup dengan persentase 30,6 % sampai dengan 41,6 % di reef flat dan 29,5 % sampai dengan 50,1 % di slope. Kelimpahan zooxanthellae pada tipe naungan non-shading lebih tinggi dan terdapat perbedaan yang sangat nyata dibandingkan tipe naungan shading . Berdasarkan kedalaman perairan yang berbeda, kelimpahan zooxanthellae yang ditemukan pada level kedalaman reef flat lebih tinggi dan terdapat perbedaan yang sangat nyata daripada level kedalaman slope . Kelimpahan zooxanthellae berdasarkan stasiun menunjukkan bahwa kelimpahan tertinggi terdapat pada staiun I kemudian stasiun III dan yang terendah pada stasiun II, hal ini terjadi dikarenakan kondisi lingkungan antar stasiun yang berbeda. Zooxanthellae is a microalga lived inside the coral’s tissue by symbiotic system. Acropora sp. is one of those species that can live and develop from the reef flat to slope, both in shading or not. The difference of shading will affect the symbiotic between coral and zooxanthellae. The purposes of this study were to determine the distribution of Acropora sp. in Pari Island and analyze the differences abundance of zooxanthellae inside Acropora sp based on depth and shading’s type. This research had been carried out in three stations in south of Pari island from 20 to 23 June 2014. This study measured the covering of living coral especially Acropora sp., water quality and zooxanthellae's abundance. Analysis for differences of zooxanthellae's abundance used chi-square test. Percentage of coral cover, Acropora sp., in the south of Pari Island was dominated by living coral species, at 30.6-41.6% in the reef flat area and 29.5-50.1% in the slope area. Zooxanthellae's abundance on non-shading part was highly significant higher than shading part. As well based on the depth, the abundance of zooxanthellae on reef flat was highly significant higher (P > 0.01) than on the slope. Abundance of zooxanthellae based on station showed that the highest abundance found in station I, station III and the lowest one appeared at station II, because the environmental condition in every stations were different. }, issn = {2721-6233}, pages = {46--54} doi = {10.14710/marj.v4i1.7814}, url = {https://ejournal3.undip.ac.id/index.php/maquares/article/view/7814} }
