Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal transportasi. Kapal laut yang sering digunakan untuk penghubung antar pulau dirasa kurang dari segi kecepatan dan fleksibilitas. Pesawat amfibi hadir sebagai alternatif kapal laut yang menawarkan keunggulan dari segi kecepatan dan fleksibilitas sistem. Pengembangan pesawat amfibi tak jauh dari analisis aerodinamika dan analisis kelayakan terbang yang dimilikinya, oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya pengujian aerodinamika untuk pesawat amfibi. Pengujian menggunakan wind tunnel merupakan langkah analisis untuk mendapatkan data aerodinamika akurat yang mendekati kondisi sebenarnya. Analisis aerodinamika pesawat amfibi berkapasitas 19 penumpang menggunakan wind tunnel regim sub-sonik sirkuit tertutup dengan kecepatan operasional 70m/s memberikan hasil pesawat amfibi berkapasitas 19 orang akan kehilangan gaya angkat atau mengalami stall pada sudut serang 15,81ᵒ dan hasil karakterisasi aerodinamika, geometri pesawat amfibi berkapasitas 19 orang menghasilkan koefisien gaya angkat yang relatif kecil, dan memiliki koefisien gaya angkat pada kondisi stall sebesar 1,9068.
