PENGARUH DEEP PRESSURE VEST TERHADAP PENURUNAN STRES KOGNITIF MENGGUNAKAN ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM (EEG) PADA ANAK SKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Model terapi tekanan mendalam (deep pressure) menjadi alternatif yang mudah dan murah dalam menurunkan tingkat stres dan kecemasan sehingga memberikan efek menenangkan bagi pengguna. Pada penelitian kali ini digunakan dua jenis alat deep pressure therapy yaitu inflatable vest dan weighted vest. Pengujian alat ini berguna untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari inflatable vest dan weighted vest dengan menggunakan masing-masing 2 perlakuan yaitu variasi tekanan 5 kPa untuk inflatable vest dan variasi pola getaran horizontal pada weighted vest. Metode pengambilan data pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode uji objektif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan Electroencephalogram (EEG) yang berfungsi untuk melihat efek fisiologis dengan memantau aktivitas gelombang otak. Dalam pengolahan data ini, data di uji menggunakan metode uji normalitas, uji beda t berpasangan, dan uji wilcoxon. Lalu didapatkan nilai signifikansi yang dapat membantu melihat penurunan angka dalam masing – masing perlakuan bermakna atau tidak. Jika nilai signifikansi dari masing – masing perlakuan bermakna, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan tersebut mampu menurunkan tingkat stress atau kecemasan dibanding perlakuan lain.
