Abstract

ABSTRACT

This internship aims to evaluate the implementation of ergonomics at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga DPPU Ahmad Yani, particularly concerning the use of footsteps on refueller trucks. The study is motivated by ergonomic issues that can increase the risk of fatigue and workplace accidents for tanker drivers (AMT) due to the height of the truck's default footstep. Through field observations, interviews, and the application of the ergonomic checklist method, it was found that the condition of the footstep requires improvement to enhance work safety and comfort. The recommended design improvement involves adjusting the footstep height to be more ergonomic, which is expected to reduce these risks. The results of this study contribute to enhancing occupational safety and health aspects within the company's operational environment, while also supporting work efficiency and operational sustainability.
