USULAN PERENCANAAN JADWAL DAN JUMLAH PRODUKSI KOKAS DENGAN METODE JUST IN TIME (STUDI KASUS: COKE OVEN PLANT PT KRAKATAU STEEL (PERSERO) TBK)

Abstract

ABSTRAK

PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi produk baja dalam berbagai bentuk. Coke Oven Plant pada PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk merupakan fasilitas yang memproduksi kokas untuk digunakan sebagai bahan bakar pada proses pembakaran di Blast Furnace yang membuat Hot Rolled Wire. Coke Oven Plant melakukan bisnis penjualan kokas ke perusahaan lain dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pendapatan tambahan bagi perusahaan. Tolling Fee Agreement yang dilakukan pada proses penjualan kokas membuat Coke Oven Plant mengalami kesulitan untuk menentukan jumlah dan jadwal produksi serta pengiriman kokas yang tepat. Sistem Just in Time diterapkan pada proses produksi sejak bahan baku datang hingga kokas dikirim ke konsumen. Dengan mengurangi pemborosan dan menjadwalkan jumlah produksi yang tepat menggunakan skenario kecepatan produksi yang berbeda-beda, didapatkan simulasi dan usulan mengenai jumlah dan jadwal produksi kokas yang optimal. Jumlah produksi yang dihasilkan dari 115.061 ton bahan baku adalah 24.163 ton kokas. Dengan kecepatan produksi 48, 54, 60, dan 66 push/day akan menghasilkan kokas berturut-turut selama 13, 13, 12, dan 10 minggu.

PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk is a company that produces steel products in various forms. The Coke Oven Plant at PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk is a facility that produces coke to be used as fuel in the combustion process in the Blast Furnace which makes Hot Rolled Wire. Coke Oven Plant conducts the business of selling coke to other companies with the aim of providing additional revenue for the company. The Tolling Fee Agreement that was made in the process of selling coke made it difficult for the Coke Oven Plant to determine the amount and schedule of production and delivery of the right coke. The Just in Time system is applied to the production process from the time the raw materials arrive until the coke is sent to the consumer. By reducing wastage and scheduling the right amount of production using different production speed scenarios, resulting in optimal coke production simulations and schedules. Total production produced from 115,061 tons of raw materials is 24,163 tons of coke. With production speeds of 48, 54, 60, and 66 push/day will produce coke for 13, 13, 12, and 10 weeks, respectively. Keywords: Coke, Just in Time, Coke Oven Plant
