Dinamika Perkembangan Ekonomi Masyarakat Kecamatan Wedung Berbasis Pertanian, Perikanan, dan Industri, 1988-2013

Abstract

This study discusses the dynamics of economic change in Wedung, a rural district in Demak Regency. The study focuses in the period of 1988-2013. This study uses the critical history method which consists of four stages, including heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The purpose of this study is to look at the factors in which support and inhibit the economic development of Wedung District. The district has potentials in agricultural, fisheries, and industrial base. According to the study, it can be seen that the fluctuating economy in Wedung District has increased. The main factors for improving the community's economy are education, geographical conditions, infrastructure development, technology, and support from the government.
