JURNAL KEDOKTERAN DIPONEGORO ((ISSN: 2540-8844) was the first academic journal of medicine published by the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Diponegoro Semarang in 2016. JURNAL KEDOKTERAN DIPONEGORO was published four times a year and was available only in its online version. The language used in the journal was Indonesian.
Along with the development of medical sciences, practices, and changes in school policy, JURNAL KEDOKTERAN DIPONEGORO then was changed. The new version of the journal under the name “DIPONEGORO MEDICAL JOURNAL (JURNAL KEDOKTERAN DIPONEGORO)” was developed in 2020 and published articles in the English language bimonthly a year. In 2021, the name of the journal was changed back to JURNAL KEDOKTERAN DIPONEGORO (DIPONEGORO MEDICAL JOURNAL) with a similar E-ISSN.
The JURNAL KEDOKTERAN DIPONEGORO (DIPONEGORO MEDICAL JOURNAL) received its accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education with a Sinta 5. The decree of this accreditation was issued by the Director-General of Research Strengthening and Development, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in 2018, then in 2022 reaccreditation was done and now become Sinta 4 (Accreditation Certificate).
As an open-access journal, JURNAL KEDOKTERAN DIPONEGORO (DIPONEGORO MEDICAL JOURNAL) has been indexed by Google Scholar, Garuda, Shinta-Science and Technology Index, Crossref, Dimensions, and since 2021, it is indexed also in Index Copernicus International (ICI).
Since 2020, the journal publishes its articles bi-monthly a year on January, March, July, September, and November.
