Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus kepadatan populasi dan Indeks Morishita, untuk mengetahui distribusi spasial kerang berdasarkan ukuran panjang digunakan uji Analysis of Variance . Hasil penelitian bahwa jumlah kepadatan populasi pada stasiun I ( inlet ) DAS Panjang 1 ind/m² - 5 ind/m²; stasiun II ( inlet ) DAS Rengas 1 ind/m² - 9 ind/m²; stasiun III ( inlet ) DAS Ringis 1 ind/m² - 8 ind/m²; stasiun IV ( outlet ) DAS Kedungringin 1 ind/m² - 16 ind/m², dan angka rataan Indeks Morishita dari seluruh stasiun pengamatan kurang dari 1 (Id < 1) yang berarti bahwa pola sebaran dari kerang A. woodiana cenderung seragam dan teratur. Hasil analisis distribusi spasial berdasarkan ukuran panjang kerang diketahui F sebesar 4,952 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,003. Oleh karena signifikansi sebesar 0,003 < 0,05, maka inferensi yang diambil adalah terdapat perbedaan panjang kerang berdasarkan empat stasiun dan panjang minimal kerang A. woodiana dari seluruh stasiun 8,03 cm dengan panjang maksimal sebesar 16,54 cm. The method used in the survey was done by deskriptif the case study. Then analyzed the result of the research using formula density of population and morishita index, to know the spatial distribution shells used measure of length based on analysis of variance. The result showed that the population density in the station I (inlet) DAS Panjang 1 ind/m² - 5 ind/m² ; sta tion II (inlet) DAS Rengas 1 ind/m² - 9 ind/m² ; sta tion III (inlet) DAS Ringis 1 ind/m² - 8 ind/m² ; sta tion IV (outlet) DAS Kedungringin 1 ind/m² - 16 ind/m² , and value an average of the index morishita an observation station less than 1 ( I d < 1) which means that the distribution of shell A. woodiana inclined uniform and orderly . The results of the analysis of spatial distribution arrangement based on the length shell is known that the F of 4.952 with the significance of 0.003.
