Terjadinya perubahan lingkungan akibat eksploitasi dan pencemaran akan berpengaruh terhadap ekosistem padang lamun dan kelimpahan epifauna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelimpahan epifauna pada kerapatan lamun yang berbeda dan hubungan kelimpahan epifauna pada kerapatan lamun yang berbeda di perairan Pantai Pancuran Belakang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, sedangkan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan pemetaan sebaran lamun. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat antara kerapatan lamun dengan kelimpahan epifauna dilihat dari hasil analisis korelasi sederhana dengan nilai (r) sebesar 0,967 dan signifikasi (0,138 > 0,05). Karimunjawa island is one of the areas in the waters of Jepara Regency that has a diversity of aquatic ecosystems, one of which is a seagrass ecosystem is one of the coastal areas of supporting ecosystems. One of the functions of the seagrass habitat for benthic organisms as particularly highly prone when the epifauna seagrass continuously gets the ecological pressures. The occurrence of environmental change as a result of exploitation and pollution will affect the ecosystem of the seagrass and abundance of epifauna. The purpose of this research is to know the abundance of epifauna on different seagrass density and abundance of epifauna on relationship of density in different seagrass coastal waters Pancuran Belakang. The research method used is the method of observation, whereas sampling is done by mapping the distribution of seagrass.
