This study aimed to analyze Pb concentrations in water and milkfish muscle, calculate the Bioconcentration Factor, and determine the safe consumption limits of milkfish for the community. The study was conducted from September to November 2024 using a survey approach with purposive sampling at three observation stations. Pb concentrations in water and milkfish samples were analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The results indicated that water quality parameters remained within ranges suitable for aquaculture activities. Pb concentrations in water ranged from 0.01 to 0.167 mg/l, while Pb concentrations in milkfish muscle ranged from 0.983 to 1.8 mg/kg. The Bioconcentration Factor of Pb in milkfish showed a low accumulation category at stations 1 and 2 (BCF < 100), with values of 5.9 and 19.167, respectively, whereas station 3 exhibited a moderate accumulation category (100 ≤ BCF ≤ 1000) with the highest value of 360. The safe consumption limit of milkfish from Tirang Beach ponds was estimated at 0.966 kg/week for adults and 0.290 kg/week for children.
