Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kisaran nilai hue Rhizophora spp dan hubungan kandungan klorofil serta faktor lingkungan terhadap nilai hue. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Variabel utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah nilai hue (bahan organik, salinitas air, dan salinitas tanah). Pengambilan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk mengetahui karakteristik vegetasi mangrove dengan menggunakan line sepanjang 100 m dengan pengulangan sebanyak tiga kali. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan tingkat dominasi tertinggi terdapat pada jenis Rhizophora stylosa (50,017%) sementara dominansi Rhizophora apiculata adalah sebesar (49,985%). Nilai hue pada daun Rhizophora spp berkisar antara 86,9% sampai 141,35%. Nilai hue terendah 86,9% berwarna hijau muda, sedangkan nilai tertinggi 141,35% berwarna hijau tua. Korelasi nyata hanya terdapat pada hubungan nilai hue dengan salinitas air, sedangkan hubungan kandungan klorofil dan faktor lingkungan memiliki hubungan yang tidak nyata. Hue is the colour that produced by leaves pigment, That assumed be affected by various environmental factors. This study were aimed to get the range of hue Rhizophore value and to know the relationship between their chlorophyll contents and environmental factors toward the hue values. This research used descriptive approaches. The main variable in this research were the hue value of the Rhizophor a leaves, leaves chlorophyll content, and environmental factors (organic material, water salinity, and substrat salinity). Data was collected by purposive sampling method to identify mangrove vegetation characteristic using 100 m transect lines with three replications. The result showed that the highest dominance level was on Rhizophore stylosa (50,017%), while dominance level of Rhizophore apiculata was 49,985%. Hue value of Rhizophore leaves was in the range of86,9 0 to 141,35 0 . The lowest hue value was 86,9 0 with colour more like yellow to green where the highest value was 141,35 0 which has dark green in colour.
