Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survey dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling . Dari hasil penelitian terdapat 2 jenis Ikan Manyung yang didaratkan yaitu Manyung Utik ( Arius thalasinus ) dan Manyung Pidada ( Arius maculatus). Sebaran titik koordinat penangkapan berada pada kisaran lintang 05 0 48’74.8” sampai 06 0 56’10” dan bujur 109 0 54’49.3” sampai 110 0 45’39.6”. Daerah sebaran titik tangkap berada di daerah Kota Pekalongan, Batang, Kendal, Demak, Semarang dan Jepara. Manyung fish is one of java island species includes as demersal and off shore fish. In 2011, total fish production in Indonesia reached 90,980 tons and is the largest production for demersal fish group. As a follow up of this and maintain the balance of the ecosystem, it is necessary monitoring. The study was aimed to determine the morphometric analysis, species and catch distribution of manyung fish. The study was conducted in 21 April-13 May 2016 at the Pekalongan Domestic Fishing Port, Central Java This research used survey method and sampling was done by a purposive sampling. There were 2 species of manyung were landed, there are Manyung Utik (Arius thalasinus) and Manyung Pidada (Arius maculatus). Distribution of fishing coordinate point was in the range of latitude 05 0 48'74.8 until 06 0 56'10\" and the longitude 109 0 54'49.3\" until 110 0 45'39.6\".
