Management of Aquatic Resources Journal (MAQUARES) E-ISSN: 2721-6233 is a scientific journal published twice a year by the Undergraduate Study Program of Aquatic Resources Management, Department of Aquatic Resources, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Diponegoro University. MAQUARES has been accredited as SINTA 4 based on the Decree of the Directorate of Research and Development No. 286/DST/C3/HM.01.00/2026. Initially, MAQUARES published four issues per year from 2014 to 2020. However, in 2023, the publication frequency was reduced to two issues per year.

The scope of research that can be published in this journal includes topics in fisheries resource management, aquatic resource management, aquatic plants, invertebrates, benthic bioecology, crustacean bioecology, mollusk bioecology, aquatic microbiology, water pollution and its control, aquatic ecology, hydrobiology, fisheries capture, fisheries biotechnology, remote sensing of fisheries and marine resources (GIS), aquatic ecotourism, economic valuation of aquatic resources, and fisheries resource management.

Article Processing Charge Starting 1 May 2026, accepted articles submitted to Maquares will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 600,000 for non-undergraduate first authors and IDR 500,000 for undergraduate first authors.
