Abstract

Penelitian tentang penggantian pinggul total oleh peneliti sebelumnya berfokus pada dampak penggunaan material, penerapan permukaan bertekstur, penggunaan pelapis, serta desain dan geometri departemen komponen. Variabel ini diukur berdasarkan parameter resistansi yang digambarkan sebagai tekanan kontak atau sejenisnya. Namun, belum ada penelitian yang dilakukan mengenai kinerja menahan beban dari prostesis pinggul total, yang diukur menggunakan parameter kekuatan yang lebih spesifik dan kriteria yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menyajikan analisis mekanika kontak yang meliputi tekanan kontak, tegangan von Mises, regangan, dan tegangan Tresca pada prosthesis pinggul total dengan menggunakan material Ti6Al4V-ON-Si3N4. Model elemen hingga 2D dibuat untuk  analisis. Simulasi numerik dilakukan dengan menerapkan beban fisiologis yang sesuai  pada sendi panggul manusia selama aktivitas berjalan normal.
