Abstract

High or low employee performance indicates the success of a company in prospering or meeting the needs of its employees. PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. experienced fluctuations in performance appraisal, which tended to decrease by 8.8% (a decrease in value of 70.89) in 2021. Likewise, the total production of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk., which tends to decrease, can be seen in the annual report of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. for 2021. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of communication and compensation on employee performance at PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk., Plant 9/10 Cirebon. Explanatory research was used in this study with a population of 128 and a sample of 44 Production Department employees of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk., Plant 9/10 Cirebon. Simple random sampling was used as the sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observation, and literature study. The IBM SPSS (Statistic Product and Service Solutions) version 26.0 application is used as a tool to analyze the selected linear regression data in this study. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there was a positive and significant influence of communication and compensation variables on employee performance, either partially or simultaneously. The suggestions put forward in this research are that PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. should continue to make improvements to communication facilities and infrastructure and the standard system for determining bonuses.

 

Tinggi rendahnya kinerja karyawan mengindikasikan keberhasilan suatu perusahaan dalam mensejahterakan atau memenuhi kebutuhan karyawannya. PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. mengalami fluktuasi dalam performance apprraisal yang cenderung menurun sebesar 8,8% (penurunan nilai 70,89) di tahun 2021. Begitu pula jumlah produksi PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. yang cenderung menurun, hal ini terlihat pada laporan tahunan PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. Plant 9/10 Cirebon. Research explanatory digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan jumlah populasi 128 dan jumlah sampel 44 karyawan Production Dept. PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. Plant 9/10 Cirebon. Simple random sampling digunakan sebagai teknik sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah kuesioner, observasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Aplikasi IBM SPSS (Statistic Product and Service Solutions) version 26.0 dipakai sebagai alat untuk menganalisis data linear regression yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini. Berdasakan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan variabel komunikasi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Saran yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. hendaknya terus melakukan peningkatan pada sarana dan prasarana komunikasi dan sistem standar penetapan bonus.
