Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and employee engagement on employee performance at PT Galaxy Mandiri Perkasa. The type of this research is explanatory research with quantitative research methods and the sampling technique is saturation sampling or census. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, which were distributed directly to the entire population as many as 55 respondents. The data analysis techniques are validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination test, simple and multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. The results of this research indicate that transformational leadership and employee engagement have a positive and partially significant effect on employee performance. And then, transformational leadership and employee engagement have a simultaneous effect on employee performance. Among the two independent variables (X), the variable that gives the greatest influence is the employee engagement variable of 36.80%.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan employee engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Galaxy Mandiri Perkasa. Tipe penelitian nya adalah explanatory research dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh atau sensus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, yang dibagikan secara langsung kepada seluruh populasi penelitian sebanyak 55 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, reliabilitas, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, regresi linier sederhana dan berganda, serta uji t dan F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Serta variabel kepemimpinan transformasional dan employee engagement berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Diantara dua variabel bebas (X), variabel yang memberikan pengaruh terbesar adalah variabel employee engagement sebesar 36,80%.
