PERHITUNGAN DAN ANALISIS NILAI OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS (OEE) PADA LINE POUCH PT.XYZ

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan Negara Agraris yang memiliki potensi besar pada sektor industri peternakan sebagai pilar penting dalam sistem perekonomian. Salah satu komoditi utama pada industri peternakan adalah susu sapi. Pengembangan industri susu sapi secara profesional diperlukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi susu sapi di Indonesia. Melihat adanya peluang tersebut, PT. XYZ mulai memproduksi susu UHT pada tahun 2002 dan melakukan modernisasi instalasi struktur dan peralatan untuk produksi susu segar. Namun pada kondisi lapangan yang ada, PT. XYZ mengalami kerugian yang diakibatkan oleh proses produksi pada salah satu lini produksi , yaitu Line Pouch. Dengan kondisi  tersebut, sangat penting untuk mengetahui efektifitas operasi produksi yang dijalankan oleh PT. XYZ Line Pouch dengan menggunakan salah satu metode Total Productive Mantainance (TPM) yaitu OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Data yang digunakan adalah data total downtime, scrap, waktu maintainance, dan output produksi dari Line Pouch PT. XYZ. Dari hasil pengolahan data , nilai OEE Line Pouch PT XYZ adalah sebesar 87%. Nilai tersebut telah melampaui nilai standard OEE Internasional sebesar 85%. Nilai OEE ini dapat dikatakan sangat baik, walaupun masih ada faktor yang perlu ditingkatkan lagi efisiensi nya untuk menyempurnakan nilai OEE pada Line Pouch.

ABSTRACT

Indonesia is an agriculture country that has a great potential in the cattle industry sectors as an important pillar in the economic system. One of the main commodities in the cattle industry is dairy. The professional development of the dairy industry is required to meet the needs of cattle’s milk consumption in Indonesia. Seeing this opportunity, PT. XYZ began producing UHT milk in 2002 and modernize the structure and installation of equipment to produce fresh milk. However, the existing field conditions, PT. XYZ suffered losses caused by the production process at one of the production lines, ie Line Pouch. Under these conditions, it is important to determine the effectiveness of the production operation run by PT. XYZ Line Pouch, using one of the Total Productive Mantainance (TPM) methods, specifically OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). The data used is the total of downtime, scrap, maintainance period, and the production output of the Line Pouch. From the results of data calculation, the value of OEE Line Pouch PT XYZ is  87%. This value has exceeded the international OEE standard value of 85%. This OEE value can be said to be very good, although there are some factors that needs to be improved its efficiency to enhance OEE value on Line Pouch.
