ANALISIS PENERAPAN TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE (TPM) DENGAN PERHITUNGAN OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFECTIVENESS (OEE) DAN SIX BIG LOSSES MESIN CAVITEC PT. ESSENTRA SURABAYA (STUDI KASUS PT. ESSENTRA)

Abstract

Pemeliharaan dan penanganan mesin yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan menurunnya tingkat produktivitas dan efisiensi mesin. PT. Essentra merupakan perusahan yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan cigarette filters. Mesin yang beroperasi secara terus menerus dituntut dapat memenuhi target yang telah di tetapkan dengan tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi. Permasalahan yang terdapat pada PT. Essentra terdapat pada banyaknya breakdown yang terjadi pada mesin Cavitec VD-02 serta kurang maksimalnya jumlah produksi yang menyebabkan kurangnya nilai indeks efektivitas total mesin secara keseluruhan (OEE) pada mesin Cavitec VD-02. Untuk dapat meningkatkan produktivitas maka dilakukan pengukuran Total Productive  Maintenance (TPM) dengan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE adalah metode sistematis untuk melakukan pengukuran tingkat efektivitas proses suatu mesin atau peralatan. Secara umum, besar kecilnya nilai OEE dipengaruhi oleh faktor dominan yang menyebabkan rendahnya performansi suatu mesin atau peralatan yang biasa disebut dengan Six Big Losses. Setelah itu mendapatkan penyebab permasalahan yang terjadi dengan menggunakan fishbone diagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE pada mesin Cavitec VD-02 sebesar 44,327957 %, nilai efektivitas ini tergolong sangat rendah karena standar nilai OEE untuk perusahaan kelas dunia idealnya adalah 85%. Faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi rendahnya nilai OEE adalah performance rate dengan faktor presentase six big losses pada Idling and Minor Stoppages Loss sebesar 41,0778139 % dari seluruh time loss. Hal yang dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi rendahnya nilai OEE pada mesin Cavitec VD-02 yaitu dengan diadakannya autonomous maintenance yang diberikan kepada setiap operator, melakukan Preventive Maintenance secara berkala untuk menjaga performansi mesin. Melakukan training bagi operator dan teknisi maintenance serta melakukan pengawasan terhadap operator tentang kebersihan tempat kerja.

Essentra is a company engaged in the manufacture of cigarette filters. The machine operates continuously demanded can meet the targets that have been set with a high level of effectiveness. The problems found in the PT. Essentra found on many a breakdown occurred in the engine as well as Cavitec VD-02 maximum number of less production which led to the lack of effectiveness of the total index value of the overall machine (OEE) on machine Cavitec VD-02. To be able to increase productivity then made measurements of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The OEE is a systematic method to perform measurements of the effectiveness of the process of a machine or equipment. In General, the small value of OEE is influenced by the dominant factor that causes low performance.
