PENGUKURAN NILAI OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS (OEE) DAN USULAN PERBAIKAN DENGAN METODE 5S PADA LINE 8 PT. COCA COLA BOTTLING INDONESIA CENTRAL JAVA

Abstract

PT. Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia Central Java merupakan salah satu produsen minuman ringan yang menghasilkan dua jenis minuman yaitu minuman berkarbonasi (Coca Cola, Fanta dan Sprite) dan non-karbonasi (Frestea). Untuk meningkatkan produktivitasnya, maka salah satu faktor yang harus diperhatikan perusahaan adalah masalah perawatan mesin. Mesin-mesin produksi harus dijaga keandalannya agar senantiasa berada pada performa terbaik sehingga akan meminimasi terjadinya kerusakan (breakdown). Jika mesin mengalami breakdown, maka akan menyebabkan kerugian bagi perusahaan seperti keterlambatan produksi, pekerja yang menganggur, hingga penurunan produktivitas serta kualitas perusahaan.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada line 8 PT. CCBI Central Java karena line tersebut memiliki tingkat frekuensi breakdown paling tinggi diantara line lainnya. Untuk itu maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran Overall Equipment Effectiveness serta mengidentifikasi penyebab permasalahan dan usulan dengan metode 5S.

Dari hasil pengukuran, pencapaian presentase OEE pada line 8 PT. CCBI Central Java berkisar antara 57,70% hingga 72,42%. Dimana nilai OEE terendah terjadi pada bulan Juni dan nilai OEE tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Maret. Kisaran nilai OEE tersebut masih berada di bawah standar OEE dunia yaitu <85% sehingga perlu diadakan perbaikan secara terus menerus. Nilai OEE yang rendah dipengaruhi oleh nilai Availability yang rendah pula dimana hal tersebut terjadi karena besarnya total downtime losses yang terjadi.

ABSTRACT

                PT. Coca Cola Bottling Indonesia Central Java is one of the soft drink manufacturer that produces two types of beverages, namely carbonated beverages (Coca Cola, Fanta and Sprite) and non-carbonated (Frestea). To improve productivity, then one of the factors that must be considered is the problem of engine maintenance company. Production machinery reliability must be maintained to always be on the best performance that will minimize the damage (breakdown). If the machine breakdown, it will cause harm to the company such as production delays, unemployed workers, to a decrease in productivity and quality perusahaan.Penelitian is done on line 8 PT. CCBI Central Java since the line has a frequency rate of breakdown is highest among the other line. Accordingly, in this study measured Overall Equipment Effectiveness and identify the causes of the problems and proposed the 5S method.

                From the measurement results, the achievement of OEE percentage on line 8 PT. CCBI Central Java ranged from 57.70% to 72.42%. Where OEE value was lowest in June and highest OEE values occur in March. OEE value range is still below the world standard OEE is <85%, so there should be continual improvements. Low OEE value is affected by the low value of Availability also where it happens because the total amount of downtime losses that occur.
