Bimuda Karya Teknik belum menggunakan dasar teori yang jelas sehingga output penjadwalan harian tidak sesuai dengan kondisi dilapangan. Permasalahan lainnya adalah member departemen produksi sulit membaca penjadwalan yang diubuat oleh departemen PPIC. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, metode penjadwalan produksi yang digunakan untuk mengatasi penumpukan Work In Process (WIP) adalah job shop aktif. Selain itu dibutuhkan format baru untuk penjadwalan produksi yang mudah dipahami oleh member produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan makespan, waiting time, dan work in process (WIP) pada penjadwalan tanggal 9 januari. Penjadwalan departemen PPIC menghasilkan makespan sebesar 10,2 jam, waiting time 3 jam, dan WIP 2 part. Sedangkan metode job shop aktif menghasilkan WIP 8,3 jam, waiting time 3 jam dan WIP 1 part. Metode job shop aktif merupakan metode terpilih dan diterapkan pada penjadwalan selanjutnya. Pada penjadwalan tanggal 11 januari didapatkan makespan sebesar 5 jam, waiting time 1,8 jam, dan tidak didapati WIP dalam proses produksi.. To overcome this, the production scheduling method used to overcome Work In Process (WIP) is an active job shop. In addition, a new format is needed for production scheduling that is easily understood by production members. The results of the study showed that the improvements in makespan, waiting time, and work in process (WIP) were scheduled for January 9. PPIC department scheduling results in a makespan 10.2 hours, a waiting time of 3 hours, and a WIP of 2 parts. While the active job shop method produces a WIP of 8.3 hours, a waiting time of 3 hours and a WIP of 1 part. The active job shop method is the method chosen and applied to the next scheduling.
