Mesin merupakan komponen vital pada proses produksi, maka dari itu keadaan dan pengoperasian mesin harus selalu dalam keadaan yang optimal. Fokus bahasan dalam paper ini adalah pengoperasian mesin Lapping yang digunakan PT.Fluid Science Dynamics Indonesia untuk memperhalus dan meratakan permukaan produk. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman kegiatan perawatan atau maintenance ikut mengalami perkembangan, salah satu ilmu dalam proses perawatan adalah Total Productive Maintenance yang bertujuan meminimalisasi kerugian dari sistem manufaktur dan mengurangi biaya produksi . TPM dapat diterapkan dengan melakukan pendekatan Overall Equipment Efectiveness (OEE). Perhitungan OEE mempertimbangkan aspek availability, performance rate, dan quality . Hasil perhitungan rata-rata OEE mesin Lapping didapatkan sebesar 78,51% dimana terdiri dari nilai availability 95,96%, performance rate 81,82%, dan quality rate 100%. Analisis yang dilakukan pada paper ini menggunakan diagram fishbone dengan 5 aspek yaitu material, man, environment, methods, dan machines. Dengan analisis dapat diketahui penyebab-penyebab tidak tercapainya target efisiensi mesin dan langkah perbaikan yang diperlukan.

Abstract

(Title : Analysis of Lapping Machine Productivity Value with the Overall Equipment Effectiveness Approach to PT. Fluid Science Dynamics Indonesia, Tbk.) The machine is a vital component in the production process, therefore the condition and operation of the machine must always be in an optimal condition. The focus of the discussion in this paper is the operation of the lapping machine used by PT.Fluid Science Dynamics Indonesia to refine and level the surface of the product. Along with the development of maintenance or maintenance activities, one of the sciences in the maintenance process is a total productive maintenance that aims to minimize losses from the manufacturing system and reduce production costs. TPM can be applied by approaching the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). OEE calculations consider aspects of Availability, Performance Rate, and Quality. The average calculation of Lapping Machine Oee is obtained at 78.51%which consists of an Availability value of 95.96%, Performance Rate 81.82%, and Quality Rate 100%. The analysis conducted on this paper uses a fishbone diagram with 5 aspects namely material, man, environment, methods, and machine. With the analysis, it can be seen the causes of not achieving engine efficiency targets and necessary improvement steps.
