Workshop WSSW di PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk. pada awalnya tidak dibangun sebagai fasilitas proses maintanance s ehingga terdapat bebera pa masalah tata letak seperti jalur gang sebagai tempat produksi dan penyimpanan, jalur gang sempit, tidak dapat menggunakan forklift, dan aks es pintu hanya satu. WSSW juga berencana menginvestasikan mesin baru pada proses cutting. Tujuan penelitian ini ad alah merancang tata letak yang dapat mengatasi masalah di lantai p roduksi dengan menggunakan 2 skenario yaitu pemindahan WSSW ke lokasi baru dan menyesuaikan tata letak WSSW di lokasi integrated workshop. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menambahk an luas materi al dan personil serta pemberian allowance pada perhitungan kebutuhan luas. K emudian perancangan dilanjutkan dengan membuat activity relationship chart (ARC) . Alternatif layout dibuat dengan menggunakan BLOCPLAN dan CORELAP . T ata letak kemudian diber i gang dengan luas sesuai jenis material handling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada skenario 1 dan 2, tata letak BLOCPLAN lebih baik dari CORELAP karena ja rak perpindahan material yang lebih kecil dan tidak ada aliran balik. Kata Kunci : A bstract [Title: Facility a nd Layout Planning of Wo r kshop Sewing Using BLOCPLAN and CORELAP Method (Case Study: Cabin Maintanance Uni t PT Garuda Maintanance Facility A ero Asia Tbk .)] F acility Layout and Equipment Design is one of the factors that play a role in i ncreasing company productivity. WSSW Workshop at PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk. was not initially built as a maintenance process fac ility so there were some layout problems such as the alley used for production area and storage, narrow alleyway, not being able to use forkl ifts, and only one door access. WSSW also plans to invest in new machines in the cutting process. The purpose of this rese arch is to design a layout that can solve problems on the production floor using 2 scenarios, moving the WSSW to a new location and adjusting the layout of the WSSW at the integrated workshop location. The research was conducted by adding material a nd personnel area as well as providing allowances for the calculation of area requirements to the new layout . Then the design is continued by making an activity relationship chart (ARC). Alternative layout s are made using BLOCPLAN and CORELAP . The layout is then given an alley with an area according to the type of material handling.
