DESAIN SISTEM INFORMASI CREW MANPOWER PLANNING (CMPP) PT. GARUDA INDONESIA TBK. DENGAN INTEGRATED DEFINITION – FUNCTION MODELLING (IDEF0) DAN INTEGRATED DEFINITION – DATA MODELLING (IDEF1X)

Abstract

Business process modelling merupakan sebuah aktivitas yang bertujuan untuk memahami sebuah proses bisnis dari suatu organisasi. Proses bisnis merupakan aktivitas penting di dalam sebuah perusahaan, contohnya pada dunia penerbangan, untuk meningkatkan pelayanan transportasi udara, PT. Garuda Indonesia menyusun rencana penaikan investasi jumlah armada pesawat untuk dioperasikan. Faktor pendukung pengoperasian armada-armada pesawat tersebut adalah cockpit crew manpower planning (CMPP). Dalam penelitian ini, adanya proses bisnis yang terstruktur akan meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas perusahaan dalam mengeksekusi rencana perusahaan terkait CMPP.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat usulan desain perbaikan sistem informasi untuk aktivitas CMPP PT. Garuda Indonesia. Proses bisnis dimodelkan dengan berdasarkan komponen information system building blocks yang berfokus pada proses dan data. Penyusnan model proses pada sistem informasi dilakukan dengan analisis terhadap proses bisnis aktivitas terkait dan analisis proses bisnis dilakukan dengan desain IDEF0 pada konsisi saat ini (as-is). Perbaikan sistem informasi dilakukan dengan perancangan proses menggunakan IDEF0 to-be. Sedangankan model data disusun berdasarkan model IDEF0 (as-is dan to-be) dalam perencanaan desain data berupa IDEF1X yang memperlihatkan hubungan antar entitas dalam aktivitas terkait.

INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN FOR CREW MANPOWER PLANNING (CMPP) PT. GARUDA INDONESIA TBK. USING INTEGRATED DEFINITION – FUNCTION MODELLING (IDEF0) AND INTEGRATED DEFINITION – DATA MODELLING (IDEF1X). Business process modelling is an activity that aims to understand a business process of an organization. Business process is an important activity in a company, for example in the world of aviation, to improve air transportation services, PT. Garuda Indonesia plans to increase investment in the number of aircraft fleets to operate. Supporting factors for the operation of the aircraft fleets were the cockpit crew manpower planning (CMPP). In this study, the existence of a structured business process will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company in executing the company's plans related to CMPP. The purpose of this research is to make a design proposal for information system improvement for CMPP activities of PT. Garuda Indonesia. Business processes are modeled by component information system building blocks that focus on processes and data. The preparation of the process model in the information system is carried out by analyzing the business processes of related activities and analyzing business processes carried out with the IDEF0 design in the current condition (as-is). Improving the information system is done by designing the process using IDEF0 to-be. While the data model is arranged based on the IDEF0 model (as-is and to-be) in the data design planning in the form of IDEF1X which shows the relationships between entities in related activities.
