PERHITUNGAN JUMLAH KEBUTUHAN MESIN PADA LINI 2 DEPARTEMEN SEWING PT STAR FASHION UNGARAN

Abstract

Target produksi merupakan jumlah produk yang harus diproduksi dalam tiap periode waktu tertentu. Tidak terpenuhinya target produksi dapat mengakibatkan perusahaan dinilai memiliki daya saing yang kurang. Di PT Star Fashion Ungaran terjadi permasalahan yang terjadi sepanjang tahun, yaitu gagal dalam memenuhi target produksi dengan tingkat pemenuhan rata – rata 77,04% dan lini 2 memiliki nilai rata – rata terendah, yaitu 64,08%. Penelitian pendahuluan telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang menyebabkan tidak terpenuhinya target produksi. Berdasarkan diagram Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), salah satu penyebab tidak terpenuhinya target produksi adalah kekurangan mesin. Dengan mempertimbangkan nilai investasi dan nilai Upah Minimum Regional (UMR) di wilayah Ungaran yang masih bersaing, penambahan mesin dapat menjadi alternatif solusi permasalahan. Penelitian dilakukan pada lini 2 dengan tingkat pemenuhan target produksi paling rendah agar solusi yang diberikan dapat memberi pengaruh yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, terdapat penambahan 14 unit mesin jahit, 3 unit mesin obras, 4 unit mesin pemasang kancing, dan 1 unit mesin pelubang kancing.

CALCULATION OF MACHINERY REQUIRED ON LINE 2 AT SEWING DEPARTMENT IN PT STAR FASHION UNGARAN. The production target is the number of products that must be produced in any given time period. Unfulfilled production targets can result in companies judged to have less competitiveness. In PT Star Fashion Ungaran, there were problems that occurred during the year, which failed to meet production targets with an average fulfillment rate of 77.04% and line 2 has the lowest average value of 64.08%. A preliminary study has been conducted to determine the factors that caused the production target to be missed. Based on the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) diagram, one of the causes of the unfulfilled production target is the lack of machines. Taking into account the value of investment and competitive Minimal Regional Salary (MRS) at Ungaran, the addition of machinery can be an alternative solution to the problem. The research was conducted on line 2 with the lowest level of achievement of production target so the solution will impact significantly. Based on the calculation, there are addition of 14 units of sewing machine, 3 units of overlock machine, 4 button mounting machine, and 1 unit of punching hole machine.
