PENERAPAN LEAN MANUFACTURING PADA PRODUKSI ITC CV. MANSGROUP DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN VALUE STREAM MAPPING DAN 5S

Abstract

CV. Mansgroup merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi alat-alat bantu pada bidang otomotif terutama alat-alat yag dibutuhkan bengkel motor dengan produk unggulan perusahaan yaitu ITC (Injector Tester and Cleaner) yang berfungsi sebagai pembersih injektor yang terdapat pada motor. CV. Mansgroup berencana untuk memperbesar kapasitas produksi produk-produknya dan memperluas jangkauan pemasarannya. Akan tetapi pada produksinya terdapat beberapa pemborosan yang berdampak pada efisiensi produksi ITC. Pemborosan tersebut adalah Movement, Transportation, dan Defect yang diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan Process Activity Mapping. Lean Manufacturing merupakan pendekatan yang meminimasi pemborosan yang terjadi pada aliran proses produksi. Setelah diidentifikasi, pemborosan tersebut dicari penyebabnya dan ditangani dengan menggunakan prinsip 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, dan Shitsuke). Penggunaan prinsip 5S akan menghasilkan Future Stream Mapping dan Process Activity Mapping yang baru, serta keuntungan kinerja produksi dan finansial bagi perusahaan yakni meningkat sebanyak 16,2%

Abstract

                CV. Mansgroup is a manufacturing company that produces tools in the automotive field, especially tools needed by motorcycle workshop with the company's flagship product is ITC (Injector Tester and Cleaner) which serves as a cleaner for injector that contained in the motor. CV. Mansgroup has a plan to increase production capacity of its products and expanding its marketing reach. However, in production, there are several waste which affects the production efficiency of ITC. The wastes are Movement, Transportation, and Defect which identified by using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Activity Mapping. Lean Manufacturing is an approach that minimizes waste that occurs in the flow of the production process. After identification activity, the causes of waste will be generated and the sollutions will be dealt by using the principles of 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke). The use of the principles of 5S will generate Future Stream Mapping and new Process Activity Mapping and increase production performance and  finanicial profits for the company to 16,2%.
