ANALISIS PENYEBAB KETIDAKSESUAIAN PRODUK ADIPRIMA PADA PT. ADPS MENGGUNAKAN METODE SEVEN TOOLS

Abstract

PT. ADPS adalah salah satu produsen kertas dengan produksi utamanya berupa Newsprint Paper  dan  Writing and Printing Paper  yang merupakan anak perusahaan dari Jawa Pos Group, dimana 60% hasil produksi merupakan kebutuhan grup, sehingga hal tersebut menjadi capaian minimal produksi per harinya. Oleh karena itu, untuk menyediakan nilai-nilai yang terbaik bagi konsumennya PT. ADPS terus meningkatkan produksi dan kulitas produk serta memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik kepada konsumennya. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Departemen QC diketahui bahwa sering terjadi beberapa jenis ketidaksesuaian pada produk kertas Adiprima 58/48.8 Yellowish. Salah satu metode yang digunakan PT. ADPS untuk pengendalian kualitas adalah Statistical Process Control. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penyebab  ketidaksesuaian  dominan pada produk Adiprima 58/48.8 Yellowish serta  menemukan solusinya.  Pengambilan data berupa data variabel  ketidaksesuaian  produk Adiprima 58/48.8 Yellowish mulai dari bulan Oktober 2013 sampai Januari 2014. Berdasarkan pengolahan data menggunakan  Seven Tools, penyebab ketidaksesuaian  produk yang paling dominan adalah warna tidak standar yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor manusia, material, mesin, dan metode yang digunakan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan perbaikan pada proses yang melibatkan faktor-faktor tersebut.

PT. ADPS are one of the manufacturers which paper as main production Newsprint Paper and Writing and Printing Paper is a subsidiary of Jawa Pos Group, where 60% of production is the needs of the group, so that it becomes the minimum production per day. Therefore, to provide the best value for consumers PT. ADPS always increases their production and the quality of their products and provide the best service to customers. Based on the data from Quality Control Department noted that often occur some kind of nonconformities of Adiprima 58/48.8 Yellowish product. One method used by PT. ADPS for quality control is Statistical Process Control. The purpose of this study was to analyze the causes of dominant nonconformities in products Adiprima 58 / 48.8 Yellowish and solve the solution. Retrieval of data come from variable data of nonconformities Adiprima 58 / 48.8 Yellowish products which ranging from October 2013 to January 2014. Based on the data processing using the Seven Tools, the most cause of dominant nonconformities is color which not according to the standard that influenced by human factors, materials, machines, and methods used. Therefore, there should be improvements in processes involving these factors.
