The results of this study shows the province of Central Java ranked third in regards to the number leprosy patients in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Central Java only has one referral hospital for leprosy patients, the Donorojo Leprosy Rehabilitation Unit. Under the management of the Central Java Provincial Government, the Donorojo Leprosy Rehabilitation Unit strives to maximize the management and services provided to leprosy patients. In its development, the Donorojo Leprosy Rehabilitation Unit was later accredited as a Type C Hospital.
