Abstract

Efek urutan item merupakan hipotesis pengaruh letak item pada performa tes. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membahas konsep dasar efek urutan item, sejarah penelitian, dan penerapannya dalam teori respon butir. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa posisi item dalam tes memengaruhi tingkat kesulitan, diskriminasi, dan performa peserta tes. Model matematis yang dikembangkan untuk mempelajari efek ini meliputi model linear, nonlinear, dan kurvilinear. Dalam teori respon butir, efek posisi item dilihat melalui parameter item difficulty dan differential item functioning.
