PENGARUH TIDUR PAGI SETELAH SUBUH (HAILULLAH) TERHADAP TINGKAT STRES MAHASISWA

Abstract


There have been many studies that reveal the benefits of sleep, especially sleep at night. However, not many studies have revealed the effect of morning sleep on a person's condition. Researchers are interested in examining the stress level of students who do hailullah (morning sleep after Fajr Prayer) with students who do not do hailullah (morning sleep after Fajr Prayer), because most students choose to sleep after dawn compared to night time. This study is a non-experimental study with a correlation research design involving 56 students who perform daily hailullah (morning sleep after Fajr Prayer). The measuring instrument used was the DASS 21 scale (The Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale - 21 Items). Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test. The difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in the control subjects was not significant in all three aspects with the significance value of depression, anxiety and stress was 0.816; 0.210; 0.543. In the experimental subjects, there were significant changes in the pre-test and post-test scores on anxiety and stress with a significance value of each aspect of 0.003 and 0023, while at the level of depression, no significant change was evidenced by the significance value of 0.173. Researchers hope that this research can be continued, both with the same or different variables and the results can be applied to the community in everyday life. In future studies, it is expected to be able to use more subjects so that they can represent the population. In addition, it is also hoped to use more specific control variables so that more valid data are generated because they are not influenced by other different factors.
