Perkembangan teknologi otomasi sistem pengangkutan berkembang sangat cepat di dunia industri. Sistem pengangkutan yang sering digunakan adalah konveyor. Konveyor dapat digunakan untuk mengangkut material dalam jumlah banyak  maupun sedikit. Cara kerja sistem konveyor yang efektif, efisien, dan cepat sehingga sangat membantu proses produksi.Tugas akhir ini merancang sebuah sistem HMI yang akan difungsikan pada model konveyor pengangkut material untuk melakukan simulasi monitoring,pengontrolan dan menyimpan data. Sistem HMI dirancang dengan disain yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami oleh operator sehingga operator dapat memonitor dan mengontrol plant dengan mudah. Komponen yang dipakai dalam tugas akhir ini meliputi PLC Omron seri CPM1A sebagai pengontrolnya, CX Supervisor 3.22 sebagai aplikasi untuk membuat HMI, dan Microsoft Access sebagai database. Hasil pengujian dari sistem HMI yaitu telah dapat mengontrol, memonitor, dan menyimpan data. Pengujian pengontrolan dilakukan dengan menekan tombol start dan stop di HMI. Pengujian monitoring pada HMI terlihat dengan aktifnya indikator sensor dan aktuator sedangkan pengujian database dengan melihat semua data tersimpan dengan baik di Microsoft Access.

Abstract

 

The development of the transport system automation technology has been developing very rapidly in the industrialized world. The transport system was often used conveyor. Conveyors has could be used to transport large amounts of material or less. The system of conveyor has worked very effective, efficient, and fast, so it greatly assist the process of production. This final project designed the system of HMI that would be enabled to the material transporting conveyor model that had some function  such as to simulate the monitoring, controlling and storing data.It was designed with a simple design and easily understood by operator so that the operator could done monitoring and controlling the plant easily. The components were used in this thesis included Omron PLC CPM1A series as a controller, the CX Supervisor 3.22 as software  to create HMI, and Microsoft Access as the database.The test results of the HMI system that has been able to control, monitor, and store data. Controlling test was done by pressing the start button and stop button on the HMI. Monitoring test on HMI was succeed when the indicator of sensor and actuator worked well then saving test was completely done to the database was by looking at all the data stored properly in Microsoft Access.
