Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 kali dalam 1 bulan dengan interval 1 minggu. Hasil penelitian didapatkan larva ikan di Stasiun I (8 bulan) sebanyak 109 indvidu, di Stasiun II (2 tahun) diperoleh larva ikan sebanyak 173 individu dan di Stasiun III (5 tahun) diperoleh sebanyak 429 individu. Keseluruhan larva ikan yang tertangkap terdiri dari 5 famili. Indeks keanekaragaman termasuk dalam kategori rendah dengan nilai berkisar antara 0,89-1,05, dengan nlai tertinggi di Stasiun III yaitu mangrove umur 5 tahun. Indeks keseragaman berkisar antara 0,56-0,65, nilai tertinggi juga pada Stasiun III dengan umur mangrove 5 tahun. Nilai indeks Dominasi berkisar antara 0,47-0,54, dengan nilai tertinggi pada Stasiun II. Dengan demikian dapat dilihat bahwa semakin tua umur mangrove semakin baik fungsinya sebagai penyedia habitat dan lindungan bagi ikan. Dapat dilihat juga bahwa komposisi larva ikan di ketiga stasiun penelitian relatif sama, namun kelimpahan yang paling banyak ditemukan di Stasiun III yang memiliki umur vegetasi lebih tua dibandingkan Stasiun I dan Stasiun II. These activities was influential in the formation of zoning by mangrove vegetation . A ge of mangrove plant is expected to have an influence on the community structure of fish larvae that are in it. This study was conducted in December 2014 - January 2015. Th is study applying descriptive method, sampling was conducted using a scoope net in three sampling sites which have different age vegetation . Sampling was conducted 4 times in one month at weekly interval.
