Perairan pesisir merupakan bagian dari perairan laut yang dapat dijadikan sebagai habitat bagi suatu organisme. Habitat yang baik membutuhkan suplai makanan yang dapat mendukung segala akitivitasnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas perairan ditinjau dari produktivitas primer, konsentrasi nitrat dan fosfat serta kelimpahan fitoplankton. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey yang bersifat deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling . Hasil analisis parameter fisika kimia air selama penelitian diperoleh temperatur air (29-31°C), kecerahan (32-81 cm), kedalaman (72-152 cm), kecepatan arus (0,02-0,09 m/s). pH 8, oksigen terlarut (2,8-4,6 mg/l), salinitas (23-33), produktivitas primer (8,33-58,75 mgC/m 3 /jam), nitrat (0,6232 mg/l), dan fosfat (0,4238 mg/l). Fitoplankton yang teridentifikasi terdiri dari 18 genera. Kelimpahan fitoplankton tiap stasiun berkisar antara (1619-3148 ind/liter), keanekaragaman (1,44-2,17), keseragaman (0,66-0,94), dan dominasi (0,16-0,36). Hasil uji regresi linier menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi nitrat dan fosfat dengan kelimpahan fitoplankton mempunyai hubungan yang sangat lemah. A good habitat is requiring food supply that can support all activities. The aim of this research is to known the quality of waters in terms of primary productivity, concentration of nitrate and phosphate also phytoplankton abundance. This research was conducted in May 2017. Research methods used is method survey which is descriptive with purposive sampling technique. The results of analysis of water chemistry physics parameters during the study obtained water temperature (29-31 ° C), brightness (32-81 cm), depth (72-152 cm), current velocity (0.02-0.09 m / s). PH 8, dissolved oxygen (2.8-4.6 mg/l), salinity (23-33), primary productivity (8.33-58.75 mgC/m 3 /jam), nitrate (0.6232 mg/l), and phosphate (0.4238 mg/l). The identified phytoplankton consists of 18 genera. The phytoplankton abundance of each station ranged from (1619-3148 ind / liter), diversity (0.66-0.94), and dominance (0.16-0.36).
