Abstract

Peningkatan efisiensi penukar kalor penting untuk memenuhi permintaan industri. Salah satu cara meningkatkan laju perpindahan kalor adalah dengan menggunakan generator vortex, yang menciptakan aliran turbulen untuk memperbaiki perpindahan kalor antara permukaan dan fluida. Eksperimen dilakukan untuk meneliti kinerja dari perforated delta winglet vortex generators (PDW VGs). Kecepatan aliran divariasikan dari 0,4 m/s hingga 2 m/s pada interval 0,2 m/s serta memvariasikan sudut serang. Performance evaluation criteria (PEC) merupakan output dari eksperimen dengan (j/j0)/(f/f0). Hasil eksperimen ini membuktikan PEC pada PDW VGs lebih tinggi dibandingkan DW VGs pada nilai Reynolds 8.800.
