Abstract
This study analyzes the Instagram account @Bijakmemilih.id as a medium for digital political education, focusing on its strategies and content formats to raise awareness and engagement ahead of the 2024 General Election. This study employs Prasad’s theory of political education which emphasizes four key indicators: information dissemination, development of political awareness, formation of political attitudes, and political participation. In addition, a Social Network Analysis approach is used to understand the role of collaboration in amplifying message reach through the concepts of actors and ties. A qualitative method was employed, combining in-depth interviews with the editorial team and media practitioners with content analysis. The findings reveal that the dominant strategy is collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and media, positioning Bijak Memilih as a central actor in the digital political communication network. Using a Social Network Analysis approach, the study finds that the account demonstrates high centrality as a primary information hub, establishes strong ties through repeated collaborations, and forms cohesive subgroups consisting of engaged infographics, followed by summaries of presidential and vice-presidential debatesm and short videos (reels), which achieve high engagement largely due to collaborative production.
