Berdasarkan nilai indek ekologi, maka ekosistem perairan Delta Wulan cukup stabil bagi kehidupan fitoplankton khususnya kelas Bacillariophyceae Bacillariophyceae or diatoms is a class of the Chromophyta division. Bacillariophyceae is the most dominant species in the marine ecosystem. Bacillariophyceae play an important role in marine ecosystems, namely as a food source in the food chain for marine organisms. Bacillariophyceae have high adaptability to waters with extreme or polluted conditions. This species describes the water quality conditions in a body of water. Excessive amounts of Bacillariophceae will also cause Blomming Algae, which can cause the dissolved oxygen content to become low or depleted. This research aims to determine ecological indexes of the Bacillariophyceae class. The research method used is exploratory with a descriptive approach. Determining the sampling location uses the purposive sampling method. Bacillariophyceae class data was analyzed to measure abundance, diversity index, uniformity, and dominance. The results of this research found 48 different species from the Bacillariophyceae class. The abundance of Bacillariophyceae in the Wulan Delta waters ranges from 146,658- 322,499 cells/m³. The Bacillariophyceae Diversity Index is in the medium to high category (2.43-3.12), the Bacillariophyceae Uniformity Index is in the high category (0.66-0.83), and the Bacillariophyceae Dominance Index is in the non-dominant type (0.06-0.15).
