Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode survei menggunakan klasifikasi multispektral dengan asumsi terjadi perubahan luasan hutan mangrove dari citra multitemporal yang telah dilakukan koreksi geometrik dan radiometrik. Citra satelit Landsat yang telah terdigitasi dioverlay satu sama lain, sehingga diketahui perubahan luasan mangrove periode tahun 2013-2021. Hasil analisis perubahan luasan mangrove di wilayah pesisir Desa Keboromo pada kurun waktu 8 tahun (2013-2021) bertambah 4,17 ha dengan laju perubahan 50,3% yang semula pada tahun 2013 seluas 4,12 ha, pada tahun 2021 bertambah menjadi 8,29 ha. Desa Sambiroto mengalami penambahan 5,14 ha dengan laju perubahan 52,72% yang semula pada tahun 2013 seluas 4,61 ha bertambah menjadi 9,75 ha. Desa Tunggulsari mengalami penambahan 8,04 ha dengan laju perubahan 85,9 % yang semula pada tahun 2013 seluas 1,32 ha menjadi 9,36 ha. Dapat disimpulkan ketiga desa tersebut mengalami penambahan luasan mangrove dikarenakan kegiatan rehabilitasi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok masyarakat dan pemerintah Kabupaten Pati. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan dari ketiga desa tersebut bahwa penambahan luasan mangrove terbesar yaitu Desa Tunggulsari. The current condition of mangroves is getting worse and damaged due to human activities and natural disasters, which causes changes in mangrove area. Mangrove area have changed functions for various purposes. It is important to regularly monitor the condition of mangroves using remote sensing. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in mangrove area that occurred in the coastal area of Tayu District, Pati Regency. The research material used is Landsat 7 and Landsat 8 imagery. This research method is survey method with a multispectral classification with the assumption that there was a change in the area of mangrove forests from multitemporal imagery that have been corrected geometrically and radiometrically. Landsat satellite imagery that have been digitized are overlayed with each other, so that changes in mangrove area are known for the period 2013-2021. The results of the analysis of changes in mangrove area in the coastal area of Keboromo Village over a period of 8 years (2013-2021) increased by 4.17 ha with a change rate of 50.3% which was in 2013 an area of 4.12 ha increased to 8.29 ha.
