Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah penganalisisan aspek biologi dan ekonomi sumberdaya Ikan Layur di Pesisir Kabupaten Rembang yang meliputi produksi Layur per usaha penangkapan (CPUE), Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY), Maximum Economic Yield (MEY), dan Open Access Equilibrium (OAE).Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April dan Juli 2013. Materi penelitian ini adalah unit usaha perikanan tangkap yang hasil tangkapannya adalah Ikan Layur di TPI Tanjungsari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel 11 nelayan. Data yang diambil berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah metode time series dan metode bioekonomi model Schafer. Analisis aspek biologis dan ekonomis dengan menggunakan model Schaefer untuk menghitung MSY,MEY, dan OAE. Hasil penelitian dapat ditunjukan dari nilai rata-rata Catch per Unit Effort (CPUE) sumberdaya Layur pada tahun 2008-2012 di TPI Tanjungsari Kabupaten Rembang adalah 5,92 kg/alat tangkap. Produksi optimal (C opt ) pada Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) sebesar 162.073 kg/tahun dengan effort optimum (E opt ) 18.387 Trip/tahun. Produksi optimal (C opt ) pada Sole Ownership (SO) sebesar 151.837 kg/tahun dan effort optimum (E opt ) sebesar 13.767 Trip/tahun. Produksi optimal (C opt ) pada Open Access Equilibrium (OAE) sebesar 121.9 76 kg/tahun dan effort optimum (E opt ) sebesar 27.533 Trip/tahun. Rembang at Regency Seawaters is one of distribution area of potential belt fish that located in northern coastal of Central J ava Province, that producted 91.966 Kg in 2012. If there is no control in the resources utilization, the resources will be threaten with the increasing of fishing e xploitation on this re s ource s This research aims were to analyze biological and economic aspect of the utilization of ribbon fish in TPI Tanjungsari Rembang Regency Seawaters which includes Catch per Unit Effort (CPUE), Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY), Sole Ownership (MEY), and Open Access Equilibrium (OAE) .
