Produktivitas mesin yang optimal merupakan faktor penting dalam menjamin efisiensi proses produksi. Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur dan meningkatkan efektivitas mesin adalah Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang didukung oleh analisis Six Big Losses. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Kurios Utama, sebuah perusahaan tekstil yang mengalami permasalahan pada mesin Rieter D-35, yaitu sering mengalami downtime dan gagal mencapai target produksi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur nilai OEE mesin Rieter D-35, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor utama penyebab penurunan produktivitas menggunakan pendekatan Six Big Losses, serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan berbasis analisis Diagram Pareto dan Fishbone Diagram. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menghitung komponen Availability, Performance, dan Quality Rate untuk mendapatkan nilai OEE, serta menganalisis komponen Six Big Losses. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE mesin masih di bawah standar ideal (85%), dengan kerugian terbesar berasal dari faktor Reduced Speed Losses dan Breakdown Losses. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disusun rekomendasi perbaikan yang meliputi peningkatan efektivitas jadwal pemeliharaan, pelatihan operator, serta evaluasi prosedur operasional standar.

Abstract

Optimal machine productivity is an important factor in ensuring the efficiency of the production process. One of the methods used to measure and improve machine effectiveness is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) supported by the Six Big Losses analysis. This research was conducted at PT Kurios Utama, a textile company that is experiencing issues with the Rieter D-35 machine, namely frequent downtime and failure to meet production targets. This research aims to measure the OEE value of the Rieter D-35 machine, identify the main factors causing productivity decline using the Six Big Losses approach, and provide improvement recommendations based on Pareto Diagram and Fishbone Diagram analysis. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The data processing method involves calculating the components of Availability, Performance, and Quality Rate to obtain the OEE value, as well as analyzing the components of the Six Big Losses. The analysis results show that the machine's OEE value is still below the ideal standard (85%), with the largest losses coming from Reduced Speed Losses and Breakdown Losses. Based on these findings, improvement recommendations have been formulated, including enhancing the effectiveness of the maintenance schedule, operator training, and evaluating standard operating procedures.
