Efektivitas merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena dapat memperlancar proses produksi. Salah satu cara untuk meingkatkan efektivitas adalah dengan mengevaluasi kinerja mesin perusahaan. PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan penghasil pupuk di Indonesia. Mesin Extraction Condensing Turbine 6-8MC6E Generator adalah salah satu mesin penunjang proses produksi. Mesin Extraction Condensing Turbine 6-8MC6E sering mengalami permasalahan seperti terjadinya downtime yang berakibat menghambat proses produksi dan target produksi tidak dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Mesin Extraction Condensing Turbine 6-8MC6E Generator dengan pendekatan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan analisis, didapatkan bahwa Steam Turbin Generator memiliki tingkat efektivitas sebesar 62,47% yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai tersebut tetapi masih berada di bawah standar Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) sehingga masih perlu dilakukan perbaikan dan evaluasi.

Abstract

Effectiveness is very important because it can expedite the production process. One way to increase effectiveness is to evaluate the performance of the company's machines. PT Petrokimia Gresik is one of the fertilizer producing companies in Indonesia. Extraction Condensing Turbine Generator 6 8MC6E Machine is one of the supporting machines for the production process. The 6-8MC6E Extraction Condensing Turbine machine often experiences problems such as downtime which results in hindering the production process and production targets not being achieved. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the 6-8MC6E Generator Extraction Condensing Turbine Machine with the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. Based on the results of calculations and analysis, it was found that the Steam Turbine Generator has an effectiveness rate of 62.47% which indicates that this value is still below the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) standard so that repairs and evaluations still need to be carried out.
