Abstrak

PT. Fluid Science Dynamics Indonesia (PT.

Abstract

PT. Fluid Science Dynamics Indonesia (PT. FSD) is an incorporated company engaged in the Production of Dry Gas Seals and Refurbishment services in Indonesia. In every work activity, especially in the workshop, the activities carried out such as material transfer, use of materials, machining processes, and machine maintenance have received OHSAS certification in 2017. However, in the course of 2017-2020 there was still one near miss work accident and two incidents. The purpose of this study was to review the existing SMK3 in the workshop using Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC). Based on data processing with this method, it was found that there were 11 work activities with a low level of risk, 7 work activities with a medium level, and 19 work activities with a high level. Activities with a high risk level will get risk control in accordance with the risk control hierarchy, namely through elimination, substitution, engineering control, administrative control, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
