PENINGKATAN KUALITAS HIDUP PENGRAJIN DAN PENGGUNA BLANGKON (GAYA YOGYAKARTA) MELALUI PENDEKATAN ANTHROPOMETRI SERTA PENERAPAN SISTEM PRODUKSI YANG SESUAI (PAPER REVIEW)

Abstract

Blangkon sebagai kelengkapan busana adat jawa merupakan salah satu peninggalan budaya yang perlu dilestarikan. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi serta perubahan gaya berpakaian menjadikan blangkon tidak lagi menjadi bagian utama dalam berbusana pada masyarakat modern. Blangkon saat ini lebih banyak ditemui dalam acara – cara adat serta pelengkap dalam event – event tertentu. Sebagai cinderamata blangkon masih mempunyai daya tariknya tersendiri. Kesempatan ini mesti diambil oleh para pengrajin untuk  dapat memenuhi permintaan ini. Dengan teknologi yang ada sekarang perajin blangkon belum dapat memenuhi peluang yang ada. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan teknologi pembuatan blangkon dengan menghadirkan model kepala yang bersifat modular dan tidak lupa menghadirkan sisi ergonomic melalui penentuan anthropometri dalam model tersebut. Dengan adanya model tersebut diharapkan hasil produksi blangkon meningkat serta dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan pemakai dan produsen blangkon dalam berproduksi

Blangkon as a complete form of traditional Javanese clothing is one of the
cultural heritage that needs to be preserved. With the development of
technology and changes in dress style, blangkon is no longer a major part of
dress in modern society. Blangkon is currently more common to see at
traditional event. As a souvenir, Blangkon still has its own charm. This
opportunity must be taken by craftsmen to be able to fulfill this request. With
the existing technology, blangkon artisans have not been able to fulfill the
opportunities. For this reason, the aim of this research is to overcome the
problem of making blangkon technology by presenting a modular head model
that does not forget to present the ergonomic side through anthropometry
determination in the model. With this model, it is expected that the production
of blangkon will increase and can increase the comfort of users and producers
of blangkon in production
