AUDIT KINERJA GUDANG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PELAYANAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN WAREHOUSE CHECK UP (Studi Kasus PT Chiel Jedang Patriot Intan Abadi Unit Hatchery Sukabumi)

Abstract

Manajemen pergudangan diperlukan untuk mengatasi masalah dalam gudang dan kegiatan pergudangan, diantaranya barang tidak jelas keberadaannya, tidak jelas kepemilikannya, tidak jelas pemakaiannya, serta barang rusak dan sebagainya. Untuk mengatasi hal ini dapat ditempuh strategi pengauditan gudang agar dapat diketahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja gudang dalam upaya mengingkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi. PT Cheil Jedang Patriot Intan Abadi (CJ PIA) merupakan perusahaan peternakan yang memproduksi anak ayam usia sehari (DOC). Gudang pada perusahaan ini memiliki peran yang sangat penting sebagai penunjang sistem produksi. Terdapat empat gudang pernyimpanan yaitu; gudag box ruang obat, ruang vaksin, dan ruang telur. Dalam pelaksanaanya perusahaan hanya melakukan audit pada aspek persediaan saja yaitu berupa perhitungan stock opname setiap bulannya. Tetapi, perhitungan stock opname ini belum mampu memberikan gambaran kondisi gudang sebab ditemukannya selisih perhitungan antara laporan dan fisik. Dengan demikian, diperlukan metode lain untuk dapat melihat kondisi gudang yang ada saat ini menggunakan metode warehouse check up. Dengan metode ini proses audit dilakukan dalam 7 perspektif, yaitu: strategi, proses, operasi, biaya, sistem informasi, fasilitas, dan sumber daya manusia. Setelah dilakukan proses audit kemudian dilakukan proses scoring pada ketujuh perspektif tersebut dan menghasilkan score sebesar 83,8 dengan kinerja gudang berada pada level running properly. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa hal yang harus diperbaiki oleh PT CJ PIA ini, terutama pada perspektif operasi dan proses.

Audit of warehouse performance to improve service by using warehouse check-up method (case study PT Chiel Jedang Patriot Intan Abadi Hatchery Unit Sukabumi). Warehouse management is needed to overcome problems in warehouses and warehousing activities, such as unclear goods, unclear ownership, unclear use, damaged goods and so on. To overcome this problem can be taken warehouse auditing strategy in order to know what factors can affect warehouse performance to improve the effectiveness and efficiency. PT Cheil Jedang Patriot Intan Abadi (CJ PIA) is a breeding company that produces day old chicks (DOC). The warehouse in this company has a very important role as supporting the production system. There are four storage warehouses namely; gudang box, ruang obat, ruang vaksin, and ruang telur. In implementation, the company only performs an audit on the inventory aspect only in the form of calculation of stock of each month. However, the calculation of this stock opname has not been able to provide an overview of the warehouse condition because of the discrepancy between the report and the physical calculation. Thus, another method is needed to be able to see the condition of the existing warehouse using the warehouse check-up method. With this method auditing process is done in 7 perspectives, namely: strategy, process, operation, cost, information system, facility, and human resource. After the audit process is done then scoring process on the seven perspectives, and generate a score of 83.8 with warehouse performance is at the level running properly. Nevertheless, there are still some things that PT CJ PIA should improve, especially in the perspective of operations and processes.
