ANALISIS PENERAPAN 5S+SAFETY PADA AREA WAREHOUSE DI PT. BINA BUSANA INTERNUSA GROUP, SEMARANG

Abstract

PT. Bina Busana Internusa (BBI) merupakan anak perusahaan dari Triputra Group, salah satu perusahaan sukses yang bergerak di bidang garmen. Seperti yang diketahui bahwa dalam suatu perusahaan, sistem penyimpanan memiliki peran yang penting. Oleh karena itu, PT BBI memiliki warehouse sebagai tempat penyimpanan peralatan pendukung untuk proses produksi. Namun karena adanya perbedaan ukuran dan jenis, cepatnya pergantian produk yang ada di gudang serta terbatasnya space dalam gudang inilah yang menyebabkan sulitnya mengatur penyimpanan yang ada pada gudang PT. Bina Busana Internusa ini. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk memudahkan proses penyimpanan dalam warehouse yaitu dengan menggunakan metode 5S+Safety. 5S+Safety merupakan suatu program penerapan sikap kerja yang menekankan pada pengelolaan kondisi fisik tempat kerja yang terorganisir. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengumpulan data primer dan pengumpulan data sekunder. Pembahasan dilakukan dengan analisis 5S+Safety dan fishbone. Penerapan metode 5S pada warehouse PT Bina Busana Internusa belum sepenuhnya terlaksana secara sempurna. Karena dari 6S yang harusnya diterapkan, hanya 3S yang diterapkan dan belum secara maksimal. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan agar penerapan 5S lebih optimal yaitu pada tahapan seiri (sort/ringkas), seiton (set in order/rapi), seiso (shine/resik), seiketsu (standardize/rawat), shitsuke (sustain/rajin) dan tahapan safety.

The titled of this research is Analysis of The Implementation 5S+Safety In Warehouse Area of PT. Bina Busana Internusa Group, Semarang. PT. Bina Busana Internusa (BBI) is a subsidiary of Triputra Group, one of the successful companies engaged in the garment. As it is known that in a company, the storage system has an important role. Therefore, PT BBI has warehouse as a storage support equipment for the production process. However, because of differences in size and type, the rapid turnover of products in the warehouse and the limited space in the warehouse is what causes the difficulty of arranging the existing storage on the PT. Bina Busana Internusa’s warehouse. One method that can be used to facilitate the process of storage in a warehouse that is by using 5S + Safety. 5S + Safety is an application program that emphasizes working attitude in the management of the physical conditions of the workplace are organized. The method used is a method of collecting primary data and secondary data collection. The discussion conducted by analysis of 5S + Safety and fishbone. Implementation of 5S method on PT Bina Busana Internusa’s warehouse is not fully implemented perfectly. Because of 6S which should have been applied, only 3S applied and are not optimally. Proposed improvements given that the implementation of 5S is optimal namely in stages seiri (sort / compact), Seiton (set in order / neat), Seiso (Shine / rehearsal), Seiketsu (standardize / patient), Shitsuke (Sustain / diligent) and safety.
